Our formulations are designed to support the skin’s natural functions — cleansing gently, supporting the barrier, replenishing useful lipids and providing hydration without unnecessary complexity.
Purposeful Active Levels
We select active ingredients for their function, compatibility and available evidence, then formulate them at levels appropriate to the product and intended use.
More is not always better. Our approach is to use enough to serve a clear purpose while keeping the overall formulation balanced and well tolerated.
Plant Oils With Purpose
Plant oils are central to the Alix approach because they provide fatty acids and lipid-soluble components that complement the skin’s own lipid-rich outer layers.
We choose oils according to their composition, stability and skin feel — not simply because they are natural.
Gentle Sugar-Derived Cleansing
Our facial cleansers use mild sugar-derived surfactants selected to remove everyday oils, sunscreen and impurities while leaving the skin feeling comfortable rather than stripped.
Cleansing should support the routine that follows — not leave the skin needing to recover from it.
Ingredients Chosen With Care
We source ingredients from established suppliers and select materials for quality, consistency, function and formulation compatibility.
Where appropriate, supplier documentation and Certificates of Analysis form part of our quality process.
Thoughtfully Designed Packaging
We keep packaging purposeful: choosing formats that protect the formulation, function well in everyday use and minimise unnecessary material.
Miron violet glass is used for selected formulations where light protection and product stability are important, while recyclable packaging is used where it makes practical sense.
Our approach is simple: protect the formulation first, then reduce unnecessary packaging wherever we can.
